A Case of the Week

Case 117

 A seventy two-year-old male presented in our hospital because he was indicated to have oral palate mass in a local clinic, hoping surgical resection by our oral surgeon. Laboratory test revealed no abnormal values except Amylase 172 U/L (44 - 132). He agreed to receive CT (Fig. 1) and MRI (Figs. 2-7) for preoperative examination.

What is your diagnosis ?

1. Malignant lymphoma

2. Oral palate cancer

3. Nasopalatine duct abscess

4. Oral palate pleomorphic adenoma
