Diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) (b1000) is prevailing to see fresh brain infarction. Meanwhile, because water diffusion repression is known to occur in malignant tumors, DWI is being applied to identify the malignant tumors of prostatic cancer, uterine cancer, and pancreas cancer but how about brain tumors ?
