A ninety six-year-old female presented in our hospital suffering from persistent abdominal pain. She experienced vomiting early (4 AM) in the morning. The last evacuation was made last night. She had undergone appendectomy and ovariectomy approximately 50 years ago. Laboratory test revealed white blood cells 15530/mm3, neutrophil 89.1%, CRP 0.30 mg/dL (<0.14). LDH 405 U/L (124-222). She agreed to receive abdomen enhanced CT using contrast medium for further investigation.
