Case 133

 A seventy three-year-old male presented in our hospital for dyspnea. He initially felt dyspnea three days before and it was getting too worse to be tolerable. He was in the middle of undergoing postoperative chemotherapy after partial gastrectomy 14 months ago. It revealed advanced gastric cancer with tumor peritoneal dissemination (Stage IV). He agreed to receive chest radiograph and chest CT (Figs. 1, 2). The CT value of the pleural effusion was 8.43 +/- 8.52. After CT scanning, the drainage for pleural effusion was instantly conducted. The color of pleural effusion was whitish.
