Case 136
An eighty six-year-old female experienced brain infarction one month ago. MRI at that time showed acute brain infarction in the left frontal lobe, corresponded to the irrigation area of left anterior cerebral artery (Figs 1). She was transported to our hospital for rehabilitation. The degree of right hemiparesis was 1/5 with tremor of right upper extremity and rigidity of right arm. Further, she was suspicious of Parkinson disease. She was scheduled to receive training for upper extremity motion, high grade cognition, swallowing and body positioning to avoide disuse syndrome.
