Case 154

 A fourteen year-old boy presented in our hospital for suspicious seizure. For the previous 6 years, he experienced sudden loss of consciousness three times. It was followed by vomiting and headache. After the onset, he usually slept well. He underwent brain wave examination three years ago which revealed spike &wave bi F-P wave on seven to eight points in the whole brain. This time, when he studied in the afternoon and raised his head, he felt difficulty to see things in front of his eyes or felt to see things strange. He lost his consciousness momentarily. He forgot what he should do and his own name. His head MRI is as follows (Figs. 1-3).
