Case 196

 A fifty four-year-old female was transported to our hospital for persistent fever of around 38℃ for four days. The first day, she visited a local clinic where influenza test she received was negative. Her appeal was only high fever with no respiratory symptoms such as cough and sputum. The third day, she felt headache and visited the local clinic again where influenza test was negative again and chest radiograph showed no evidence of abnormality. Last day, she felt consciousness disorder. She asked ambulance but no hospital for her acceptance was found in the city where she lived. Through internet, she came here in the end. She agreed to undergo brain MRI for further examination
