Case 199

 Case 1
A fifty two-year-old male presented in our hospital with a reference letter from a local clinic. It said that he drank alcohol a lot from his youth, inducing chronic hepatic liver disorder. Although he decreased the volume of alcohol, liver function test worsened. Abdominal echo showed a low echoic area in the left lobe. Laboratory test revealed AST 34 U/L, ALT 54 U/L, AFP 3.1 ng/mL, CA19-9 12 U/mL. He received MRI for further examination (Figs 1, 2).

Case 2
A forty three-year-old female presented in our hospital for persistent fever of around 37.5℃ for 4 days. She had no respiratory symptoms. She lived with her four children and her parents. She hoped to find the responsible origin of the fever. She gave an informed consent to receive enhanced CT with contrast medium (Figs 3-5).

What is the imaging diagnosis?

1. Hepatocellular carcinoma

2. Metastatic liver tumor

3. Cholangiocarcinoma

4. Focal nodular hyperplasia

5. Hepatic pseudo-lesion
