A Case of the Week

Case 203

 A seventy two-year-old female presented in our hospital for mild fever of up to 37.0℃ in the afternoon and around 36.0℃ in the morning. She was measuring body temperature for more than 10 times a day. Laboratory test revealed CRP 0.36 mg/dL, Hb 10.9g/dL, LDH 264 IU/L.
She received non-enhanced abdominal CT (Figs 1, 2) and MRI (Figs. 3, 4).

What is your diagnosis ?

1. Intraperitoneal lipoma

2. Intraperitoneal liposarcoma

3. Teratoma

4. Retroperitoneal liposarcoma

5. Retroperitoneal unclassified undifferentiated sarcoma
