Case 64

 A three years and three month-old infant came to our hospital with her mother for abdominal pain. She had experienced vomiting and fever for three days. The vomiting continued once or twice per day. She previously experienced to undergo surgical management for diaphragmatic hernia. Laboratory test revealed white blood cells 20100/mm3 CRP 5.69 mg/dL, LDH 364 U/L, CPK 441 U/L ALP 468 U/L. Abdominal radiograph showed dilated bowels with air fluid level. Her mother agreed her daughter to receive abdominal CT.

What is the cause of small bowel obstruction on abdomen CT?

1. Adhesive ileus

2. Bowel malrotation

3. Inverted Meckel diverticulum

4. Intussusceptions

5. Incarcerated inguinal hernia
