Case 65

 A thirty two-year-old male presented in our hospital for right wrist articular pain (chiralgia). He told the orthopedist that he hurt right wrist three weeks ago. He was an electric plug engineer and sometimes a delivery-man of electric products. Wrist radiography showed no evidence of bone fracture. He agreed to receive wrist MRI for further examination.

MRI showed triangular fibrocaltilage complex (TFCC) abnormalities (Figs 1, 2, 3). What are the components of TFCC ?

a. Triangular articular disk

b. Palmer & dorsal radioulnar ligaments

c. Ulnotriquentral ligament

d. Ulnolunate ligament

e. Ulnocarpal ligament
