Case 84

 A twenty three-year-old female presented for suffering from lower abdominal pain associated with pain of anterior portion of bilateral thigh. Two days before, she felt pain of the bilateral calf which mimicked muscular pain. Last day, the painful site relocated from bilateral calf to anterior portion of the thigh. At the same time, intermittent abdominal pain occurred. Those pains were tolerable in a watchful condition. However, the afternoon of this day, the lower abdominal pain became continuous and increased to a level not to be tolerable. She called an ambulance to send her to our hospital. This was the first time to experience these kinds of pains. She had no possibility of pregnancy. Her latest menstruation of the 5 days duration was over one week ago. Laboratory test revealed white blood cells 10120/mm3 and neutrophils 80.7%.

 She had pelvic MRI for further examination.
