Case 140

 Case 1. A forty one year-old male presented in our hospital for dizziness, neck pain and stiffness of bilateral hands. He had hypertension since the youth. He hoped to take brain MRI(Fig.1).

 Case 2. An eighty two year-old female presented in our hospital due to general fatigue, dyspnea and discomfort. Blood pressure revealed 250/77 mmHg. She hoped to receive brain MRI (Fig.2).

What causes dissection of basilar artery and/or vertebral artery ?
