Case 177

 An eighteen-year-old male presented in our hospital with a reference letter from a local clinic. It said that he felt pain at from left lower neck to left throat for approximately two weeks. Laboratory test revealed no abnormality. He had larynx fiberscope and neck ultrasound five days before which showed no significant findings. As his painful symptoms continued, he was recommended to receive CT for further examination (Figs. 1- 4).

What is your diagnosis ?

1. Fish bone perforation

2. Anterior longitudinal ligament ossification

3. Elongated styloid process

4. Nerve vessel compression syndrome

5. Glossopharyngeal neurinoma
