Case 213

 A sixty nine-year-old male presented in our hospital for fever and for receiving chest CT recommended by a local clinic. Six days before, he had slight fever. It continued for three days. Although fever went away, he felt general fatigue continuing and consulted with a physician in a local clinic. Laboratory test revealed CRP 4.31 mg/dL, white blood cells 5550/mm3, monocyte 11.4%, lymphocytes 34.4%, neutrophils 53.1%, platelets 150000/mm3. He receiver chest CT (Figs 1. 2).

What is your diagnosis ?

1. Pneumococcal pneumonia

2. Tuberculosis

3. Mycoplasma

4. Viral pneumonia

5. COP (cryptogenic organizing pneumonia)
