A Case of the 10 days

 We present a thirty nine-year-old male with high fever (38.7℃), throat pain, arthralgia, headache and muscle pain, but not respiratory symptoms. It passed five days after the initial onset of high fever of 40.0℃ and the contact with a person with suspicious COVID-19. His PCR test for COVID-19 virus was positive. He had diabetes mellitus (DM) for long and stopped taking medicine for the past five months by his own judgement. Laboratory test revealed blood sugar 298 mg/dL, CRP 7.81mg/dL, procalcitonin 0.04 ng/mL, white blood cells 5210/mm3, neutrophils 65.2%, lymphocytes 26.4%, D dimer 0.1 μg/mL, urine sugar 4+, urine ketone 4+, and urine protein 2+. Her body length 165 cm, body weight 88 kg.
