Case 248

 We present a seventy nine-year-old male with disorder of consciousness. His relative living in the neighborhood had been worried about his condition since last night. He did not respond to her calling this morning and the situation did not change for a while. Then, she called an ambulance and on their way to our hospital, he got intravenous injection of glucose in the car because blood sugar dropped to 32mg/dL. Recovery of consciousness was obtained after treatment but soon after, his consciousness worsened. Based on the consent of his relatives, he got brain CT first (Fig. 1) ,brain MRI on the following day (Figs 2, 3) and brain CT on the third day (Fig. 4).
