A Case of the 10 days

Case 297

 A fifty-year-old female presented in our hospital for dysarthria. When she awakened this morning, she found to be unable to speak clearly. It did not appear to be aphasia but to be dysarthria. It took a few hours to recover. She worried about some lesion occurring in her brain. She drank 350mL alcohol/day and smoked three cigarettes/day. Medical findings revealed no neurologic deficits. She took brain MRI for further investigation (Fig. 1).

What is your imaging diagnosis ?

1. Venous angioma

2. Arteriovenous malformation

3. Brain tumor

4. Cortical subarachnoid hemorrhage
