Case 314

 A nine-year-old boy presented with his mother in our hospital for loss of consciousness. His mother said that during his sleep at night, he uttered some voices. When she awaked him, he did not watch her eyes and respond to her calling. It happened again during breakfast. He could not move for approximately ten seconds. He did not remember these events. In the past, he got sickness of Kawasaki disease and COVID-19. Laboratory test revealed no abnormality of causing these events. He consented with his mother to take brain MRI (Figs 1 – 3).

What is the possible tumor?

1.　Ganglioglioma

2.　Pilocytic astrocytoma

3.　Xanthogranulomatous astrocytoma

4.　Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor

5.　Meningio-angiomatosis
