We present a sixty-four-year-old male with consistent left back pain from yesterday. He did not drink alcohol this time. He experienced pancreatitis several times from early fifties. In the past, he had been a heavy alcohol-drinker of beer 12 bottles and two whisky bottles in weekends from thirties to early fifties before falling in pancreatitis. He had allergy for contrast medium. Laboratory test revealed amylase 259 U/L, P type amylase 220 U/L, CRP 1.0 mg/dL. He took MRI (Fig. 1), which depicted a nodule in pancreas body. Then, he took MRI one year later (Fig. 2).
What imaging findings are probable for a nodule of mass-forming pancreatitis on MRI?
