A Case of the Week
Case 23
A fifty five-year-old female appeared for back pain and epigastric pain in our hospital. She usually worked in a warehouse from 5 AM. Her job was to divide a lot of mail packs for carriers to deliver to home-receivers. During the work at approximately 6 AM, her symptoms almost suddenly came out. She returned to her home and lied in the morning, but no relief was obtained. She recognized to have been in a state of hypertension. Her blood pressure at admission was 140/80 mmHg. Laboratory test revealed almost no abnormal findings except CRP 1.65 mg/dl (< 0.30), LDH 231 U/L, Total bilirubin 1.72 mg/dl (0.22-1.20), D dimer 2.0 μg/ml (< 1), White blood cells 7840 / mm3.
She received CT for further investigation.
