Case 8

A seventy five-year-old female came to our hospital suffering from abdominal pain which had continued since the last night. She had a previous history of appendectomy. One-time soft stool was evacuated this early morning. Her abdomen was soft and a slight tenderness at epigastric area was found.Laboratory test; white blood cells (WBC) 6610/ mm3; CRP 0.42 mg/dl; neutophils 92.6 % (40-71). After abdominal CT, despite of our suggestion, the patient did not admit our hospital because of the mild symptoms. The following day, she appealed the increasing abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Laboratory test; WBC 15390/ mm3; CRP 15.4 mg/dl; neutophils 84.1% Creatinin 2.58mg/dl, eGFR 15.0. Abdominal CT was conducted again.
